Venus is the flamboyant diva of the sky: the brightest celestial body after the Sun and the Moon, so brilliant that it can be seen even in broad daylight. But behind this beauty lies an extreme world: a planet enveloped in a thick mantle of sulfuric acid clouds, where light reflects as in a mirror… while trapping crushing heat.

Its surface is a veritable cosmic furnace, averaging 465°C day and night, hot enough to melt lead! And despite this infernal heat, Venus rotates so slowly that a single Venusian day lasts longer than an entire year. A mysterious, hostile, but absolutely fascinating place.

With its volcanic plains, its mountains crushed by a pressure 90 times greater than that of Earth and its yellow-orange atmosphere worthy of another universe, Venus remains one of the most haunting enigmas of the Solar System.

We sent several spacecraft to explore Venus and gather information about our beautiful planet's twin! However, the record survival time for one of our spacecraft is only 127 minutes, due to the planet's infernal conditions !
