Ganymede

Ganymede is the largest moon in the Solar System (even larger than the planet Mercury)! It is one of the four Galilean moons, named in honour of the famous astronomer who discovered them, Galileo Galilei. This attracted the king of the gods, Zeus (Jupiter in Roman mythology), who abducted the young prince to make him his lover and the gods' cupbearer (the one who pours drinks). The constellation Aquarius was created in his honour.
