Eosinophil

Along with their siblings, basophils and neutrophils, these cells are part of the first line of defence of our immune system.

Eosinophils don't like betrayals and therefore spend part of their shift hunting double agents (cells infected with microbes hiding inside).

NEWS FLASH: Their name derives from " eosin-phile " which means likes eosin (a coral-colored dye that allows them to be distinguished under a microscope).
