Enceladus is one of Saturn's most fascinating moons, with a diameter of about 500 km, covered in sparkling water ice that reflects almost all of the Sun's light. What makes it truly unique are its giant geysers at the south pole, which eject water and ice into space, forming a thin atmosphere and a spectacular plume visible from the planet.

Its surface tells a dynamic story: it is dotted with deep craters, fissures, and scars, remnants of impacts and movements of its icy crust. Some of these fractures, called “tiger stripes,” are the points from which geysers erupt, revealing the existence of a liquid subsurface ocean. These scars make Enceladus a living, moving world, unlike many other frozen icy moons.

FUN FACT: This moon's name comes from Enceladus in Greek mythology. It is a Giant. with a hundred arms, son of Gaia (the Earth) and Ouranos (the sky), who participated in the fight against the gods of Olympus.

To stick on Enceladus' sticker is to take a piece of living and mysterious ice, a piece of the Solar System where each crack tells a cosmic adventure, directly onto your notebook, your computer... or your imaginary rocket!
