Asteroids

Asteroids are small rocky bodies that travel through the Solar System. Leftovers from the formation of planets more than 4 billion years ago, they are veritable cosmic time capsules. Some are rich in metals, others in ice or carbon, but all tell part of the story of our Universe. Observing an asteroid is like going back to the origins of the Solar System!

FUN FACT: One theory suggests that water on Earth came from asteroids! (We have to so, maybe, thank them)!
