Arrokoth, whose name means "sky" in the Powhatan/Algonquin language, is a small, icy body in the Kuiper Belt, an asteroid belt far beyond Pluto. Its name was chosen to honour the indigenous peoples of the region where this object was discovered. It is a nearly intact remnant of the early Solar System, a true cosmic fossil !

Discovered by the New Horizons spacecraft after its flyby of Pluto, Arrokoth surprised the world with its flattened snowman shape (two lobes smoothly fused together). This shape reveals that it formed slowly and peacefully, without violent collisions, giving scientists a rare glimpse into the birth of planets.

Made of ice and dust, Arrokoth floats more than 6.5 billion kilometers from the Sun, where time seems to have stood still. Studying it helps us understand how everything began, from cosmic dust to planetary worlds.

Sticking the Arrokoth sticker means keeping with you a piece of origin, an intact trace of the creation of the Solar System, and a reminder that even the smallest worlds have great stories to tell! Don't hesitate to add it to your collection!
